Mother By E. Alubaka Asher

Smiling face
On a gloomy day.
The sun has gone
But your face still glows.
Through pain and trouble,
You smile you’re never low.
The hands of care
That soothes the pain away.
The smile of hope
For a better day.
The hugs that make one know
It’s going to be ok.
A love that never fades
It’s here to stay.
The smile that replaces the sun
On a cloudy day.
