Unpacking Safaricom’s No Expiry Data Plans – Here Is What You Need To Know

Simple, Honest, Transparent. The new Safaricom tagline explains how the company will be offering services and products to its customers. Last month Safaricom celebrated their 19th Anniversary marking another successful year of providing services to its over 33 million customers.

With it came the launch of the new No expiry data plans, which include voice calls, and SMSs tariffs just For You. In case you haven’t had the chance to enjoy the new services, here’s a breakdown that shows you how to activate the new no expiry data plans. You get 50% extra airtime with no expiry date.

Choose whether to buy the no expiry calls and SMS for your number or another number.

Put the amount you wish to recharge and the mode of payment if by airtime, or through M-PESA then await confirmation.

There you have it.

As it shows with the new voice tariff, you have the freedom to choose the amount you would like to spend on airtime.

Alongside the new no expiry data plans, Safaricom also introduced a new menu which gives you easy access to more services. By dialling *100#, you can check your data usage, and more importantly, you can manage your subscriptions. Other services include self-service, Home Fibre, Mpesa products and services as well as your Bonga points balance.
