Product Review: Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion Review

Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion

Wrinkles are one of the biggest skincare concerns people have especially when it happens prematurely. Due to factors such as stress, environment, and lifestyle, people can start getting wrinkles even when they’re young. This can diminish one’s physical beauty so you have to be vigilant about protecting your skin in order to avoid developing them. With wrinkles, prevention is better than cure and the sooner you start the better.

Over time, the skin loses its elasticity causing fine lines to appear. This can happen in your early years or later in life depending on your genetics and how well you take care of your skin.

When I first noticed wrinkles on my forehead, I panicked. I always believed that I’d be one of those people who somehow never got wrinkles, much less in my 20s. However, it was normal as I came to learn after doing my research. Wrinkles and fine lines can appear at any age as it’s not only an aging problem but also a skincare problem. More importantly, everyone gets wrinkles no matter how good their skin is.

So, I decided to try out the Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion and see whether it would help resolve this issue.

The Product

According to Nivea, the Nivea Q10 lotion contains Q10 formula and Vitamin C which visibly firm and improve skin elasticity in 10 days. Q10 is a natural component in the body that keeps the skin firm. As you get older, levels of Q10 reduce making your skin lose its ability to renew itself. Vitamin C is an important nutrient for the skin as it helps it heal from sun damage, lightens dark spots, and reduces signs of ageing. Therefore, the key ingredients in the Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion have a common function of reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

I’ve never doubted Nivea products and what they claim to do since Nivea is a reputable skincare brand and has never let me down. I’ve used Nivea lotions for most of my pre-adult and adult life without any complaints. So, I had high hopes for this product.

One month after using the product

I noticed an improvement in my skin’s appearance just 3 days after I started using the product. My skin looked brighter, more hydrated, and felt tighter. On the second week of using the Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion, I noticed a significantly positive change. The fine lines started to fade and I had a more even skin tone. I’ve been using Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion for more than a month now and I can honestly say it works like magic. Your skin will love this product.

The product itself is white in colour with a smooth, semi-thick consistency. It applies easily to the skin and absorbs quickly giving you’re a refreshing feeling. It also has a pleasant, long-lasting smell which was a big plus for me.

The Package

It comes in a white Nivea lotion package with the brand logo and bright orange writings on it. The cap is leakage-proof and built to last so you can carry it in your bag without worry. I have done it severally and everything was intact when I unpacked my bag. On the back, it lists the ingredients in the product as well as usage instructions and results.

Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion

The Verdict

Generally, Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion is a great everyday lotion. It’s lightweight and keeps the skin hydrated all day long. Not to mention, it reduces wrinkles and fine lines making your skin look youthful. Therefore, if you’re looking to start an anti-wrinkle skincare regimen on a budget, Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion will not disappoint you. You can find it in most supermarkets and beauty shops at Ksh. 430.
